Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce to Host Orem Forum for Business and Civic Leaders

PROVO, Utah, Feb. 15, 2013 – The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce (www.thechamber.org) and Orem City will conduct the Orem Forum Tuesday for all Orem businesses, civic leaders and local government officials to discuss developments and issues in the city.

People can register for the event here: https://www.eventbrite.com/event/5299396638

The Orem Forum, to be held at the Sleepy Ridge Golf Course from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, is an opportunity for business and civic leaders to increase communications between each other for the good of the community.

“There isn’t enough communications between business and civic leaders on what is going on in cities in regards to issues and growth and development,” said Val Hale, president and CEO of Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce. “I hear from business leaders all the time that they don’t always know what city officials are up to and how their decisions will effect their businesses. This forum gives them an opportunity to ask questions and civic leaders to provide answers and explanations – all for the improvement of the community.”

The Orem Forum is open to all businesses.
