LaunchUp #8 This Thursday

Jeremy Hanks is reminding everyone that the U2 Concert has been canceled, so you’ll have plenty of extra time to attend the LaunchUp event this Thursday night.

LaunchUp is a social gathering wherein 3-or-so up-and-coming technology entrepreneurs present their businesses to a group to let everyone know what they are doing, and to give and receive feedback. It’s a great way to meet some of the early startups in the area and to see how others are raising the barn (so to speak).

This month’s LaunchUp is tomorrow night, Thursday, at 6:30. The event is at the Miller Free Enterprise Center / Salt Lake Community College (9750 South 300 West in the Sandy area, just West of the freeway.)

Tomorrow features food and three cool new companies: 00Tunes, Buystream.tv, and Instructure. The ‘Amp Session’ will be presented by Josh Coates, and ‘In The Weeds’ will be presented by DJ Waldow.
