2010 Entrepreneurial Business Conference
The Woodbury School of Business Entrepreneurship Institute at Utah Valley University is hosting the 2010 Entrepreneurial Business Conference on Friday April 16, 2010.
The conference will feature a keynote by Utah Governor Gary Richard Herbert, as well as presentations from local entrepreneurial leaders.
The theme of the conference is “Prospering in Hard Times… Opportunities Await!“, and promises to focus on building success in an otherwise hostile economic environment.

The Woodbury School of Business Entrepreneurship asked hundreds of local business owners and managers about their most urgent business concerns. These timely topics will be the content of the conference, and include:
- Discerning the direction of the U.S. economy
- Identifying business opportunities
- Finding sources of working capital
- Using effective marketing strategies
- Empowering employees
Successful local and national business leaders will share their experience and insight with conference attendees. The conference is open to all interested in finding solutions to current business challenges and ideas for developing ways to prosper in hard times.
Registration and breakfast begin at 7:00 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Sorensen Center at UVU.
General business sessions and informative interactive workshops extend from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Lunch in the Grand Ballroom will provide networking opportunities.
