Two Events for Entrepreneurs: LivePitch and Summit
Funding Universe is hosting two events you should be aware of:
The Utah Entrepreneur & Angel Summit 2008, and
LivePitch is for entrepreneurs who would like to present a business plan to a large group of investors, critics, and peers. You get four minutes to spill the beans and are rewarded with sturdy feedback from a panel of investors as well as from the audience at-large. It is a remarkable experience, whether to present or spectate.
The Utah Entrepreneur & Angel Summit 2008 is a Global Entrepreneurship Week Utah activity, which recognizes entrepreneurs as ‘change agents’ for the economy while bringing young, exuberant entrepreneurs and more seasoned serial entrepreneurs together with investors to inspire, connect, and mentor.
The theme for Global Entrepreneurship Week Utah is “Unleashing ideas: Igniting High-Growth Entrepreneurship in Utah.” The week is highlighted by the Utah Angel Summit, a day-long entrepreneur conference bringing entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists, and experts in numerous core service industries together to help generate ideas, build high-growth companies and encourage and promote entrepreneurship in Utah.
Don’t miss it. If you are a Utah Valley entrepreneur growing a new business, or have a new idea, this will be the place to find people and resources to make you a success.
The Summit will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. You will find it at Sandy’s South Towne Exposition Center. The address is 9575 S. State Street Sandy, UT 84070.
The LivePitch event will be held Tuesday November 18, 2008 from 3-5:00 p.m. at the USU Innovation Campus — Calibration Building. The address is 489 E. 1650 N., North Logan, UT.
