Let’s Logo

Let’s LogoI have been working with Lets Logo for about a week now to make a handful of company shirts that my team will wear at The Big Business and Technology Expo.

I met Curtis Brown at our local BNI chapter and learned that Let’s Logo can embroider just about anything; shirts of any kind, hats, jackets, golf towels. You name it. Lets Logo also does screen printing and can help you find items like pens, bottles, and gifts to put your name or logo on.

I also learned that Let’s Logo is a successful family business, started about 10 years ago by Curtis Brown and his wife Nikke. They have done well, and have obviously come a long way; their shop is really nice and very professional.

I let Curtis know that I needed some shirts done, and he said Mandy Temple would call me soon to get things started (Curtis was heading out of town that day, or he would have followed up himself). Mandi called a day or two later and introduced me to the wide range of options I had to choose from. There are a lot of options at Let’s Logo.

I was impressed when I finally visited their shop. They are located on 800 North in Orem, right behind the new Zions Bank just West of State Street. They have a nice showroom chock full of samples. I don’t know if I have ever seen so many hats, they have more letterman jackets than you can imagine, and more varieties of shirts and light jackets than you will find at a department store. I would be surprised if you couldn’t find what you needed at Lets Logo.

Mandi and I reviewed the basic elements of my order and she was prompt in returning a price. Wanting to confuse things further, I decided to to some additional reconnaissance before finalizing my order. On my second trip to Let’s Logo I worked with Mandi again to refine the details, aware that she was being very patient with my indecision. She was helpful, offered her opinion respectfully, and walked me to the finish line.

Nikke met with me next to review colors and to clarify my vision for the design and formatting. I was taken aback by her confident knowledge of colors (she picked the right colors off a wall of thread on the first try, despite my attempt to introduce several wrong ones), and even more impressed with her dexterity on the computer.

She suggested a few ideas for making my unique logo work a little better in embroidery, and we finalized the order. I left Lets Logo feeling like my ‘one-of-a-kind’ project was in good hands. They will be calling me back again when they get the digital images ready for a press check and sign off on the embroidery before they start in on the shirts. Cool.

I am looking forward to seeing them; I think they will look terrific. I will let you know.

In the meantime, if you have any embroidery to do, whether for a student, athlete, bride, team, or business; check out Let’s Logo. They have a lot of answers and are great to work with.
