Corporate Alliance Lunch
I had a great lunch at The Hub this week. For those of you not familiar; The Hub is the headquarters for a Utah Valley Business networking organization called Corporate Alliance. Its like your local Utah Chamber of Commerce, on steroids.
I had the pleasure of meeting a handful of new Utah Business Leaders. Here they are in no particular order:
Heidi Clarke was there on behalf of Mountain America Credit Union. Mountain America has been around for 25 years and has become a trusted Utah Valley staple.
Dana Robinson, who I have met before, was touting VIP Media, a Utah Valley business providing ‘Creative Media Production for Broadcast and Business’. VIP Media creates commercials and perform media services such as CD replication.
I met Aaron Alder from a company called Scritura. Scritura provides ‘Trusted Language Services, On Time, Every Time’. Scritura, basically, is a translation company and can translate almost any language to and from English for those of you wanting to market to the international audience.
I met Raymond Mullon from Amy’s Martial Arts in Orem. He was sitting in as a replacement for Amy, and was remarkably mature for his age. He blamed it on his 15 years of Taekwondo. If you are interested in getting some good exercize while you learn how to defend yourself, give Amy’s Martial Arts a call.
Also there was my good friend Greg Tillack, who you may know too as Your Personal Valet. Greg manages a personal concierge service and provides errand services for both businesses and personal endeavors. Use Your Personal Valet, and save the time for yourself.
Mary Lindsey was there from a new magazine on the frontier called Wasatch Fine Living. Wasatch Fine Living features great ideas for your home and lifestyle for anyone living along the Wasatch front, including those of us here in Utah Valley.
Finally, Matt Cannon from one of my favorite places to eat was there. His restaurant, Steak Out, features ‘Char-broiled delivery’, which means you can have a great tasting burger, or even a cooked-to-order steak and fixin’s delivered right to your office or home. Steak Out is not very expensive and cooks their food the old fashioned way (on a grill). That’s gotta be why Steak Out tastes so good. Order online at www.steakout.com.
